Adalemo, who is the Maiyegun Oruba of Ota Land, said “when I err as a human being and as a youth, being the youngest among them, they correct me with love, believing I am acting in youthful exuberance”.

Adalemo appealed to them to take him as he is and overlook his overzealous excesses.

Earlier in the speech, Adalemo disclosed that Harmony Etere was duly registered with the Ogun State Government as a full-fledged CDA on Thursday, 5th August 2019 and is hosting ACDC General Meeting for the second time.

Chief Adalemo revealed further that his CDA had been existing since 2006 as a Zone under Etere Odumekan CDA which he said was registered in 2008. However, Adalemo said that in 2016, the Community was divided into four, out of which Harmony Etere emerged as one. He added that he was elected as it’s second chairman.

On his achievements, Chief Adalemo  acknowledged the cooperation of his ExCo as well as the entire Community.

He highlighted the achievements as follows:

(1) Electricity – Upgrading of Street Wiring from single to normal phase.

(2) Construction of Culvert on the 2 Entrances that lead into the Community

(3) Installation of Street Lights in the entire Community

(4) Replacement of wooden poles with concrete poles. Nine additional wooden ones were replaced recently with concrete ones.

(5) Regular grading of roads within the Community

(6)Maintenance of peace and harmony within the Community

However, there must be challenges in any Community, hence chairman Adalemo enumerated his major challenges as Erosion, which is peculiar to his CDA because of the geographical topography of the CDA which automatically makes it easy for erosion to thrive.

Another challenge faced by the CDA, according to Chief Adalemo, is bad roads that are caused principally by erosion. And yet another challenge, he mentioned is Security, while other challenges include IBEDC crazy Billings.

Chief Adalemo seized the opportunity to thank Aseyori ACDC chairman, Lion Adebisi Akanbi for his invaluable contributions to the development of Etere Harmony CDA.
