Ota News (formerly Otta News) is a regional newspaper covering the geographical area of Ota, Ogun State and environs. Ota News is focused on bringing you the latest local news as well as stories of national and international significance. Ota Newspaper was the first community newspaper to debut in Sango Ota and environs. Having made the transition from print to online in 2021, we are glad to take our readership with us on this new journey and will welcome sponsors and advertisers. Ota News was founded by Rev. Dr. Sola Ogunbanjo, whose visionary leadership, dynamic and pragmatic approach has extended the circulation further beyond Ota into wider environs. Ota News is printed and distributed by Hiram Printing & Publishing Co Ltd, a division of Hiram Ministries. (Est. 1990)
The mission of Ota News is to cover Ota, Ifo, Atan, Ewekoro, Ijoko and environs effectively with authentic, reliable, local and indigenous news of events that happen at the people’s backyard which many other media may not have space or time to feature or follow up.
