OTA, Ogun State — The Deeper Life Conference Room at the State Headquarters Secretariat, Ilo-Awela, Ota, yesterday hosted a press conference to announce the upcoming Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, and its accompanying medical outreach.

The event brought together several pastors seated at the high table who addressed key issues including security arrangements, accommodation for participants, and the birth and vision of GCK, among other topical matters.

Media Called to Be “Primary Participants”

A major highlight of the briefing came when the host of the event, Pastor Joseph Fasanmi, spoke extensively on the role of the media in the success of the landmark crusade.

Praising the storytelling abilities of journalists, Pastor Fasanmi urged the media to exhaust every available means and channel to publicize the coming of the event.

He noted that the media’s remarkable ability to deliver messages simultaneously into homes across all spheres makes it the perfect partner to ensure the invitation reaches every nook and cranny.

“Every information disseminated by the media will translate to an invitation to hope and very possibly an answer to long years of fervent prayers,” Pastor Joseph stated.

In his closing remarks to journalists, he made a direct appeal: “Please help us tell this story.”

He asked the media to eliminate totally all forms of reasons that would make anyone within the localities covered by the program say they didn’t hear about it.

About GCK 2026 in Ota
The 5-day crusade themed _“Total Transformation Through Christ”_ will feature Pastor (Dr.) W.F. Kumuyi and is scheduled to hold from August 26th to 30th, 2026 at Anglican Grammar School, Ota, with daily sessions starting at 4:00pm GMT.

Organizers also announced that free medical services, including surgeries, will be provided during the crusade for residents of Ota and surrounding areas.

The event is expected to draw worshippers from Ogun West, Lagos, and neighboring communities.
