Ota Residents are to Benefit from GCK’s Free Medical Outreach, Surgical Services in August.

Screening holds Aug 12-14, Main Outreach Aug 22-25 in Ota and Idiroko

OTA, Ogun State — Residents of Ota and environs in Ogun West are set to benefit from a large-scale free medical intervention as the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, through its GCK Medical Missions, announces a free medical outreach and surgical screening exercise for August 2026.

According to a statement and official flyer released by the organizers, the initiative will feature free consultations, surgeries, maternal and child health services, and health education across Ota and Idiroko.

Surgical Screening Dates and Venues

As a prelude to the main outreach, screening for beneficiaries of free surgeries will hold from August 12th to 14th, 2026, daily between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The screening centres are:

Ota Centre: Anglican Grammar School, Ota

Idiroko Centre: Gateway African Church, Ikolaje, Idiroko, near the Oniko Palace

The Local Organising Committee, chaired by Dr. Maku, urged residents needing surgical care to attend the screening for assessment and enrollment.

Main Outreach Schedule: August 22nd – 25th, 2026

The 4-day “Ota GCK Free Medical Outreach” will include:

Soccer Outreach: Aug 22 | 9:00 a.m. at St Michael Junior School, Ota

Maternal and Child Health Outreach: Aug 23 | 2:00 p.m. at Landmark Executive Multipurpose Hall, 28 Iyana Joju Road, Ota

General Medical Outreach:

Day 1: Aug 24 | 9:00 a.m. at St Michael Junior School, Ota

Day 2: Aug 25 | 9:00 a.m. at Deeper Life Regional Headquarters, Ntabo, Ijoko, Ota

Surgical Outreach: Aug 24 & 25 | 9:00 a.m.

State Hospital Ota – General Surgery and Gynaecology

General Hospital Idiroko, Ipokia LGA – General Surgery, Gynaecology and Ophthalmology

Prison Outreach: Aug 24 & 25 across correctional facilities in Ogun State

All services during the outreach are free.
