Alasia CDA lists achievements at ACDC meeting
It was the turn of Alasia Community Development Association to host the monthly meeting of her Area Community Development Committee, Aseyori, last week Thursday 10th February, 2022 held in Alasia Community, Ota.
In his Welcome Address, the chairman of Alasia Community Development Association, Pastor Gabriel Olusegun Osoko listed the achievements of his CDA as follows…
(a) Installation of Street Lights
(b)Prompt payment of Security Dues
(c)Maintenance and Grading of Roads
(d)Employment of two stable night guards
(e)Regular payment of ACDC dues
(f)Replacement of eight wooden poles with concrete ones
(g)Encouraging and mobilizing landlords and landladies to construct drainages in front of their houses to check erosion
Pastor Osoko programmed that in the next two months, his CDA would…
(a)Wire four electric Concrete poles
(b)Complete the drainage System for passage of erosion to designated reservoirs
(c) Regrading of roads in the Community
Pastor Osoko, earlier in his address, paid glowing tributes to some notable founding fathers of Alasia CDA, specifically mentioning the chairman of Aseyori ACDC, Lion Akanbi and Alhadji Ajibade, recalling the rapid development of the CDA.
The Alasia CDA chairman disclosed further that his CDA is relatively peaceful except for some idle miscreants that often gather at the entrance of the CDA to forment trouble. This, according to him, would soon be addressed.
Pastor Osoko also seized the opportunity to express his appreciation to members of Alasia CDA ExCo. He also expressed his appreciation to Aseyori ACDC chairman, Lion Bisi Akanbi and his ExCo, the DPO of Onipanu Police Station and IBEDC for metering some Houses in his CDA.
The pastor also thanked his wife, Mrs Osoko, for giving him support in the work of the CDA.
Responding to the address, the Guest ACDC chairman, Elder Lion Akanbi thanked Pastor Osoko and his ExCo, charging them to strive for more achievements, while praying to God for support.
